Katherine L. Millen joined Friends of Freie Universität as a Development Consultant in March of 2003. Working together with the Executive Director, Katherine oversees development objectives, fundraising initiatives, alumni relations and web-site maintenance.
Prior to FFUB, Katherine served as a Program Assistant in the Office of External Affairs at the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations where she assisted in major fundraising events for the School, acted as a liaison to the Board of Overseers and supported the design and content of publication materials and the web-site.
Her past experiences include studies at Oxford University, research for the United Nations Institute of Training and Research and work on a half-million dollar Ford Foundation Grant on a Washington statewide initiative pertaining to living wages.
Ms. Millen holds a B.A. with a double major from Seattle Pacific University in Sociology and Political Science as well as a M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University
